IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING AN ACCOUNT AT THE STATE BANK OF CROSS PLAINS

In an effort to assist the government with its fight to stop the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the State Bank of Cross Plains will abide by the USA PATRIOT Act, a Federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you :

When you open an account we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. If you are opening an account on behalf of a business entity, documents relating to the business may also be requested. In all cases, protection of our customer's identity and confidentiality is the bank's commitment to you.
